How many seasons of serenity are there

The fans and the cast both want to see a second season of the space-western by Joss Whedon. The plot followed around a mixed bag of smugglers in their misadventures while aboard a spaceship, Serenity. Nathan Fillion starred as the lead, Captain Mal, and his team came to be called the Browncoats. Moreover, there were reports of the network giving Whedon a hard time about having Gina Torres and Alan Tudyk on board as the two actors were married.

Add poor advertising to that and what we have got is a disaster of a show that had a lot of potential.
